crossing the streams

Has anyone had an interaction with one network and a follow up with the same client through a different network. I assume this is discouraged of both clients and experts, but with the single-blind nature of the deal, I could see how this could happen.

Hourly stair steps?

From recent conversations with people at ENs, I'm under the impression that an EN will start charging a client 2.0 credits when the expert charges $700-850/hour. Any thoughts? Any idea where the stair step for 1.0 to 1.x is? Above/below $500? Any steps between that and 2.0? Any steps above 2.0? My personal rate is probably closer to ENs' averages than to $500, but I know people charging $1K. I'm just curious where the steps are.
