On my way out the door when I saw this sitting on the doorstep. Threw it on in the car and the initial, albeit short, wearing experience has been nice. Really like this particular model with the plain bezel and Arabic numbered dial. The watch has a deep dish kind of look that’s reminiscent of Marathon watches which I’m also a fan of. The double domed sapphire throws some refractions on the dial under full sun which is cool and you can see the 360° protection system wedged in there when the watch is angled. I will say the watch strap is a bit overkill being double layered nylon fused and stitched. It matches the “rugged tool watch” vibe that Unimatic is going for but it’s not very pliable and makes cinching the strap down to the right tightness a little more effort. I’m sure it’ll break in with time but I’ll probably be throwing this on a spare Marine Nationale strap when I get home. Lastly, I got this from Exquisite Timepieces and that whole purchasing experience was very smooth and the two day shipping was icing on the cake. Cheers! 🤙🏼
