The Rx 7700 XT (26.3.1 drivers) is connected as an eGPU to a laptop with a Ryzen 7 8840HS. Constant sound lags (not as bad in the video as in reality) and extremely low performance. Changing the graphics settings doesn't help at all and even the FPS doesn't change. Other games don't have this lags.
What can I try to do? Will there be a fix with drivers?

It is well known that ThunderBolt 4 offers only 4xPCIe 3.0, which provides very limited bandwidth. Is the amount of video memory critical for stable performance (for example, 12 GB or more for FullHD 60 frames per second on high and ultra settings)?
Does the processor influence the choice of the graphics card manufacturer (for example, AMD + AMD, but not AMD + NVidia)?
