Barrett, Signature Edition: The Definitive Visual Companion to the Life of Syd Barrett (2011), by Russell Beecher and Will Shutes
The edition is limited to 500 numbered sets each signed by the authors and by one of Syd Barrrett’s siblings, either Alan, Don, Rosemary or Ruth.
The Signature Edition is a boxed set of two leather bound books presented in a cloth covered clamshell case foiled with Syd Barrett’s signature and green metallic tortoise logo.
I picked this up in 2018 but had recently moved so it remained in storage for about 7 years. A couple years ago I obtained a paperback version so I decided to keep this sealed (for now) as a bit of a collector’s item. I often wonder which of Syd’s siblings signed it. #sydbarrett #pinkfloyd
