



Plateau Help
I’ve been on a cut for a year and 5 months now, went from 270 to 161 at 5’11. Maintenance calories is 2700 currently and I’ve always eaten 2000 then 1800. But recently I dropped to 1550 and have made very little progress. I’m seeing slight changes in the mirror on some days but 1550 is killing me and a month of fluctuating seems crazy. I’ve hit plateaus before but nothing this bad. Ik it’s supposed to be the hardest towards the end but what can I do to break it? I do 30 mins of incline cardio everyday, track every single thing I eat (yes everything like oils or snacks), eat 70% of my daily carbs before and after workout. Should I try carb cycling or eating at maintenance for a week? I think my body is used to the deficit from being so long term and is trying to save as much energy as possible at this point, including fat, leading to not as much weight loss that should be happening, idk tho not a expert.

- 35 fat
- 166 carb
Also, how much more weight should I drop until I start my bulk? I want to have very little visceral fat and love handles to put myself in a good position to lean bulk, so I’m thinking maybe around 152? Depending on how I look when I’m there.
