The Blue Stars are going to really come into the mix of the top 5 soon. I think people forget how remarkable and underrated their 2025 show was. It is ranked among my personal favorites.

I remember watching the bands warm up at Military Park before the finals last year, and the Blue Stars, who ran severely under my radar, caught my attention, and many others around me who were watching some of the other corps warm up. Their brass was so powerful and captivating. When I saw their performance in the finals, I was blown away.

Sure, these guys may have some work to do, but I'm very excited to see what they do this year and how it stacks up against the other corps.

Let me tell you why Khamzat is in serious trouble, explained by using the most overlooked variable, and the only one that actually matter.

The Stars

Here's something everyone seems to be overlooking. Sean was born February 27th, making him one of the most formidable Pisces on the planet. 

Khamzat is dangerous and has dominated in every area of the octagon, but there's one major problem, something no coach in the world could fix. He's a Taurus.

Tauruses are notorious for being powerful and rigid. Always wanting control, his Taurus energy is characteristically stubborn and relentless. That's a big problem. 

These Taurus types, they only charge harder when met with resistance.

Pisces are all about adaptability, intuition, emotional flow. His uncomfortable pressure and awkward rhythm will prove to be the chess pieces in Chimaev's checker game.

Bro, Li was born March 20th, he's barely a Pisces. He leans more to fiery/aggressive than the usual Pisces energy. Which is typical of most Aries. Plus, mercury retrograde had literally just ended when those 2 met. Not very optimal for any Pisces

Saturn is literally in Pisces right now, amplifying endurance and emotional grind.
