Planning my first visit to the state in June. How rainy will it be? And three related questions

** the state = Kerala.

I forgot to edit the titled from my post on r/Kerala which got removed. Apologies.

  1. As the title states, I'll be travelling during the first half of June, which is when monsoon arrives in Kerala. I've long wanted to visit, and now I have the opportunity. If I don't visit now then probably might not plan Kerala for an indefinite time. I don't mind getting wet, but if will be raining all day, then I won't get to see much. So, I'm wondering if I should cancel the plans if it will be raining all day.

  2. I'm travelling solo. Male, 30s. Kerala should be safer than most other states, but, if there are any things I should keep in mind, safety-wise, or generally?

  3. Below are two draft itineraries, which one should I go for, or any changes you'd make to either one of them. I will have around 10-15 days to travel depending on how early I arrive, but I must be at Cheriyanad by mid-June.

    Jaipur → Kozhikode → Wayanad → Munnar → Alappuzha → Cheriyanad

    Jaipur → Kochi → Munnar → Thekkady → Alleppey → Cheriyanad

tldr

  1. How bad are rains in June? Is it a no-go?

  2. Any lifepro tips as a solo first-timer to Kerala.

  3. Wayanad or Munnar? Might use some help there.

Yes, weather forecast exists, but I wanted to get a general feel during the month, which a local might be more familiar with than a radar; eg, in Rajasthan (esp western), it starts raining during June but the climate continues to retain heat, and with rains it gets humid as well -- not the best time to visit, a no-go, unless you prefer suffering.

Thanks! And pardon the bad grammer.

What to do about the public hygeine/sanitation issue. Air Force circle dump, to be specific.

I drive with a N95 mask on for the pollution, which I think is unavoidable for the time being anywhere in the country. I tend to forget the mask sometimes and more than the PM it's the smells that hit me. It's not limited to one locality, it's a city-wide issue, and its appalling. How is everyone walking like it doesn't smell not-normal? When are those VIPs getting out of their cars for a breeze?

Everyone knows the issue. I'm asking what can one do to make the city space breathable. Starting with the streets.

I would like believe the city of my forefathers and my own birth is not a you-ynow-what, joining an expanding list of mid-tier cities overcome by inert mfers who don't care but can't stand the problem nonetheless.

I'm sure many of you care too. What do you plan on doing with that hope you've invested into nothing.

The civic bodies exist. That's a plus. They don't care, and that's all fine. How do I make them do their job for one particular issue at a time regardless of their apathy, is the question.

There's an open dump near Air Force circle. It's been there for years. It's not my locality but nearby. I want it gone. What do I do. Guide me and I'll walk the path. I'm clueless, but I am willing.

Who do I call. Who do I complain to. I want that dump gone. Tell me.
