Need help! (Nexigo Trivision Ultra)
So basically, I purchased the Nexigo Trivision Ultra a few days ago and it has been working great. Colours look amazing and it’s just been a pleasure…. Except for this:
Unfortunately, ive had some annoying problems that I haven’t been able to fix after hours of trying. It all comes down to which dynamic range I choose on the Amazon fire tv settings.
When I choose “always HDR” the applications all work fine, however while watching Dolby vision content, the projector aggressively shifts the tint and gamma of the image, switching between more normal looking shots and then becoming overly reddish on other shots, even switching mid shot. This is really jarring to watch, and doesn’t go away after I switch dynamic contrast and “dynamic gamma” (forgot what its actual name is), the problem still isn’t fixed.
On the other hand, when I switch the dynamic range to “adaptive” Dolby vision content and normal content works fine, and Disney plus works fine on the home page. However, as soon as a watch something on prime video, and then exit the film, the screen becomes completely glitched with a blue and green display (see photos). This does not go away when I exit the application or go into another one, but is fixed as soon as a start watching something again.
Finally on “disable HDR”, everything works completely fine, although I assume all HDR content just plays in SDR, which is a compromise I’m reluctant to accept.
I cannot figure out how to fix either one of these, and I don’t know which problem is going to be easier to fix, ive tried both the e-arc and gaming hdmi ports, to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
