How have you moved out into non-student housing as a CUNY student?
Hi everyone. I come from a neglectful household. I had to apply to Hunter through rolling admission, since originally I couldn't fathom the idea of living at home so I didn't apply to any CUNY.
I CANNOT see myself surviving at home for the foreseeable future. I doubt I'll be able to get housing from Hunter, but I filled out the form just incase.
If you are a commuter student not living with your family, please please share how you got to that point and what it took. Any advice or thoughts are great-- roommates, living in a different borough, anything.
