Confused about apertures and techniques. So a few chapters ago, Ding was going to a guy in the sect to get his apertures refined, the whole two needle injection thing. Now he is using the Celestial heart thing, decieving himself and using his lifespan to make apertures to use the Dream technique.

Im very confused, what are apertures actually then? Why does he use lifespan and deception for some techniques and need the actual apertures for others. How does Chaos subsume seemingly all other techniques and apertures? Why can't he use lifespan and deception to make all his phamtom Chaos apertures?

Long time smoker, been smoking for years. In my experience this far, weed always enhances whatever experience or whatever I am doing. Music sounds better, movies and videos look and feel better, gaming is better, everything is just more immersive, you guys know what I mean.

The sole exception for me has been Horror movies. For some reason, Horror movies don't scare me as much when I am high vs when I am sober. Sometimes weed makes me a bit anxious but even then the Horror scares don't land. For Example, I watched Hokum last night wanting a good movie and a good scare and yet it was as if I expected every scare, and I felt nothing, same thing happend with Smile a year or 2 back.

Does anyone have a similar experience? Was it maybe just the fact that those movies weren't scary or

Is it that the same reason weed improves other things is the same reason it makes Horror suck.?

Either I am dropping this novel or finding a pirate site, but under no circumstances am I buying "Privileges". I asked questions about Webnovel premium in this sub a couple weeks ago. I have a very simple question. Usually I read these kinds of novels in e-pub format after they are complete or in the case of Shadow Slave which is ongoing I read it on a pirate site.

For RBOW I decided to start on webnovel, but after 30-50 chapters Webnovel locks the chapters. I am frankly unwilling to pay to get new chapters but since I am reading daily and I am caught up, I wonder if it will be an issue?

My question is whether new chapters will continue to be free in perpetuity, or whether I will have to start watching ads or if the new chapters will simply be stuck behind a paywall?
