Trying to keep my small culinary school afloat while we deal with some unexpected tax issues. We just bought an older building and the main teaching kitchen needs a total gut job before we can open.

I've seen so many ads for these design-build firms, but I know those usually end up with terrible hidden fees once they actually start tearing down walls.

Does anyone have a go-to contractor that does quality work and actually honors their upfront pricing?

My partner and I run a small music studio and we are currently fighting with the bank over some loan restructuring. The last thing we needed was the only bathroom in the place having plumbing issues that require tearing out the floor, but here we are.

A buddy of mine hired a big name company last year and they basically just put a cheap liner over the old tub and charged him a fortune. We are on a strict budget until our funding clears.

Looking for an honest local company that knows how to do a proper remodel.
