Reasonable expectations?
I have a 71 cutlass s holiday coupe. Was originally a 350 4 speed 10 bolt car. I’ve tried digging up as much information as I can on it including who did the engine swap and when and what car it came from. I have confirmed the 445 engine block, th400, and axle tube to be from a 68 h/o. My question is, would it be possible to put down 600-700whp with this combination of work? Baffled high capacity oil pan, high volume oil pickup, main girdle, main studs, rocket racing rotating assembly with +.30 pistons an restrictive crank plugs and a low fill of block fill (up to just below the water pump ports), full rocket racing top end package with head porting and restrictive pushrods, oil return port and polish work, 2-3/4-7 firing order swap camshaft from Howard’s, high volume oil pump, aftermarket water pump, dual to triple core aluminum radiator, Mallory or msd ignition system, walboro 550lph fuel pump, 3,700 stall converter and stage 3 clutch and friction pack accompanied by a aftermarket valve body with the addition of a bump box and trans brake, with a 3:42 rear gear and mossier axles. Suspension wise I havnt really done much thinking on. But ideally it’d be a 4 link rear with tubular front suspension and adjustable coils.
