How often do you still use dead reckoning?

I have my PPL skill test scheduled for Monday, and I caught myself thinking: "One more flight, and then I finally don't have to plot everything on the map anymore and make a nav log before every flight, and I can just use ForeFlight instead". So, that made me wonder, how often do you still use pure dead reckoning in recreational flying once you got your PPL? Curious to hear what everyone's experiences are.

PPL theory and question banks

Hello everyone,

After a grueling 3 month wait to be able to book an exam slot, I finally have my PPL theory exams at an Austro Control examination center next week. I'm using ATPLQ as question bank, and I pretty much know every question by now while using the "real exam questions: Austro Control filter". I've had multiple test runs of all 9 subjects where I'm able to score 100% overall, so I feel like I'm prepared pretty well.

The only question I still have is how representative ATPLQ is for the PPL exams. I read that for ATPL theory, you don't often see questions that aren't in the bank, but I'm wondering whether this is the same for the PPL. Anyone that can share some insights?

Fyi, I didn't just memorise the questions, and did properly study too, so even if there are some non-bank questions I should be ok, it's just that 4 wrong answers on 12 questions is not unthinkable if half of the questions are new.
