We drove 5 hrs to see Peter Allen at Duke in Charlotte yesterday. My mother in law has non resectable locally advanced adenocarcinoma. She has 360° encasement of the SMA and SMV. We were hoping for the Irreversible electroporation but he said they've gotten away from doing that because it really doesn't work. He really said her only chance is to stay the course with the chemo and wait for Daraxonrasib to be approved. He said there's an incredible amount of pressure being put on the FDA to do so so we asked him how we could put pressure on them and he said to write them and write our congressman. Does anyone have names or addresses to send a letter or email pleading our case?

My MIL surgeon says he won't do surgery. Her tumor has encased the SMV and SMA. Her tumor grew during 4 rounds of Folfirinox and she gets her second round of Gem-Abrax Friday. We got a referral to MD Anderson but they called this morning and said the arterial involvement was too great and they would not do surgery either. Will radiation help? Anyone have any experience with tumor growth during Folfirinox? Did it respond better to another treatment? Can it still shrink enough to be resectable? She has the KRAS G12C mutation and Lumakras I believe can help but she's not eligible for it because her tumor has not metastasized. I hate this fucking disease so much.

Please help 🙏 My mother in law, turned best friend after the loss of her son/ love of my life, has been diagnosed with a pancreatic adenocarcinoma of the head/ucinate process with vascular involvement. On 1/20/26 a CT revealed a mass measuring 2.8 cm which encased a proximal jejunal branch of the SMA and contacted the proximal aspect of the SMA. Her surgical Oncologist recommended chemo to shrink the tumor. Another scan was done 4/23/26 and the tumor has grown to 3.6×3.1 cm and now encases and narrows the SMA and SMV. That amount of growth after 4 brutal rounds of Folfirinox. We are devastated. Anyone have a similar story? She does have the KRAS G12C mutation but not sure where to go with that. We have an appt in the morning with her oncologist to discuss options. This feels like the end. This feels like a lot of valuable wasted time on that chemo. Anyone take a RAS inhibitor, get the Nanoknife procedure, switch chemos.
