First session with client as a BT— advice greatly needed

hey all, so I have my first session with a client later this week and the nerves are already getting to me. I’m completely new to the RBT field and got a position as a BT, I’ve taken the 40-hour course but afraid I wont be able to implement what the behavior plan tells me correctly as there’s so much information to retain.

I’ve done 3 days of training (mostly shadowing) and I know the gist of things but I’m just nervous about me thinking of doing the wrong things if any problem behavior pops up or if I’m unsuccessful pairing with my client. I also need to start preparing for taking the competency..

I know the first sessions should absolutely prioritize pairing but is that something that should be done the whole session? How would I write down only doing pairing on session notes?

sorry for airing out my concerns but I really appreciate any advice given, I know the clients BCBA will be in center if I need assistance with anything but I guess I just want to go in knowing what I should and shouldn’t be doing.
