Tapering question

Hi everyone! I've been on cymbalta for about 5 months for horrible health anxiety (caused by 24/7 left side chest pain that's still undiagnosed). I've had tons of testing with that and everything is negative, so it very well could be anxiety keeping the feeling there. Anyway, I started at 60mg cymbalta after trying tons of other medicines over 3 years and it hasn't helped me either. My doctor told me to take 30mg once a day (from twice a day) and then stop. I realized it was too fast very quickly as my panic and anxiety got way worse after lowering the dose.

I've been on the 30mg once a day now for 2 weeks? and thinking about doing the bead method to make the next step down more bearable, but i'm not sure where to start. If the 30mg capsule has say 100 beads, would I take 50 twice a day for a while or is it better to do 99 beads, to 98 the next day, and just take one out each day? Also wondering if it needs to be taken with capsules or if I can just get them into a drink or food. Thank you!

(Also if anyone has any experience or helpful tidbits about chronic chest pain to share, please let me know as it's still driving me and my anxiety up the wall! 24/7 pain that kicks in as soon as I wake up until I fall asleep, near the heart and never moves or changes, even during exercise)
