Hi everyone! I got this question in a graduate course I am taking and I'm curious to get input on it. We are discussing philosophically what is music so maybe if you want to explore that question. It's not necessary for survival, plenty of people don't listen to music or can't listen to music. But for a good bit of people it is such an integral part of human culture and expression. This has me really stumped.
