I’ll be 20 this January, and i’ve had the blessing to travel to some pretty rugged destinations solo (Honduras, Nepal, rural Philippines), i also study geopolitics and anthropology in university, mainly conflict analysis and identity. i have the opportunity to go wherever for 4 weeks (of course with Visa realities, i’m American), and i’m looking for somewhere that has stories. something rugged, socially open, and adventurous, while also not ending up on the news. backpacking preferred, i enjoy moving place to place, after the all journey is the destination! any recommendations would be lovely, just preferably outside “the West”.
