Location: Arkansas/Tennessee
I was on the way back from my girlfriend’s house to pick up her dogs while she was out of town. She lives about 1.5 hours away from me in Arkansas, and I live in West TN. I got pulled over by a cop already stopped who waved at me to pull over from inside his car. This is a known speed trap area. I was maybe speeding? But the signs changes so much within like 100 yards. Whatever. Just a ticket. I was prob rushing. I’m 30. Never had a ticket. I don’t want one on my record even though I know it’s not a big deal.
Here’s where it gets interesting. 3 days after I got my ticket, that department got in trouble and can’t issue tickets anymore. I am a nurse and can’t get off work for the short notice court date to go. Any advice? What kind of recourse do I have with this new development? Including link for article about the Parkin PD.
