Are all MFMs like this?

This is my second pregnancy and I’m seeing a whole new team. First pregnancy, I will admit I only got in control because of the pregnancy. To paint the picture, beginning of pregnancy I was 13% A1C. End of pregnancy, I was 8% maybe 7? And I totally get how controlled diabetes has to be. But I am trying my best. I’m not perfect and frankly, diabetes is very unpredictable especially during pregnancy. This pregnancy I’m 7%. I believe I’m 7.3 to be exact. Also, at this time, I’m 27 weeks. I just saw my MFM for the first time. He was quite frustrating. I understand risks. But the way he explained it was so degrading almost. I think being a type 1 diabetic already has me worrying about everything that can go wrong. Growing my second child, you think I’d know the risks of what can do go wrong and whatnot. You know I’m sure it wasn’t a threat but it sure did feel as one when he told me that I should be admitted to get my diabetes in control. Frankly, I did that for my first pregnancy and it didn’t work so well .-. I know how my sugars act for the most part. I have an insulin pump and cgm which most hospitals don’t even like dealing with. Again, I understand how we need to be even more nit picky with it. My first MFM was like that too. So much, I kept rescheduling my appointments towards the end to avoid seeing him. This dr is very similar and I can’t help but notice they’re both white older males. Idk at this point I feel I’m ranting and just upset. I wish I could have a MFM maybe a woman and maybe a type 1 diabetic.
