Short 2.5 hour hunt after work. Tried and true spot in an old hydraulic pit where a lot of smaller stuff was missed. Minelab gold monster 2000 putting in excellent work and being successful

This is without a doubt tue absolute smallest piece of gold ive found with my metal detector.
Minelab gold monster 2000 benign settings max sensitivity, so at 10.
I didn't move more than 3 feet from the first signal of the afternoon/evening and was just working this one patch in the bedrock. In my scoop I got one signal, and while sorting that first scoop the second scoop just had a blip in the threshold, no numbers, no noise while my main target was still in the first scoop. Set that dirt aside in the second scoop to get my first target. Then I spent probably close to 20 minutes isolating the piece in the video.
This is about 3 to 3.5 hours of detecting at a tried and true spot.
Minelab gold monster 2000. Killer machine on shallow bedrock gold
Same hole as my after work hunt. Went back this Saturday morning 7.18.2026 and pulled another .36 grams out. Bedrock and as I kept pulling rock out I kept getting signals. The gm2000 is a beast on shallow bedrock even in highly mineralized ground like the ground im hunting.
And I do believe this is the smallest piece of gold I've detected with the gold monster 2000 to date. It's an amazing machine.
After work hunt. I will take this everytime for that short amount of time.
.51 grams total. Brings me back up to 3.15 grams after selling all of my previous gold for our cruise spending money.

Used the new 10 inch coil on the minelab gold monster 2000 for this day. It works well, but it gets a lot of dirt under the coil cover. I took it off multiple times.

This section of the hydro pit has been hit very hard by a lot of different people. No longer am I finding 50+ pieces . Having to work harder to make my finds. But this pit has lots of area to explore still. .42 grams today. Over 22 grams total for this spring so far
A quick afternoon/evening hunt of about 3 hours leads to .65 grams of gold.
Out with my minelab gold.monster 2000. .73 grams today and .31 last evening. Over 20 grams total for this year so far.
1.65 grams total for the day. .84 gram piece of amalgam, gold covered in mercury, not sure how much of that is gold and how much is the mercury. Actually hit a mercury pocket today. Got out as much as I could. Paid for my gold in blood though. Took a tumbling rock to the shin, and another gave way that put me on my knees.
