Working on an Untouchables division: The Finches
Like the title says. I was looking through some old notes of a game I ran that fell through. Thinking of adding them into my Cain world just working out how they'll fit cause my friends pointed out they might not work.
Here's the basic idea:
Finches are a military division of CASTLE specialized in containing problematic sins that XO's have difficulty defeating and the Virtues aren't available for use. Usually, their Modus Operandi is to take a sin in their weakened state and keep them contained within a Cain facility which they then work to find a use or way to execute it themselves.
While the finches have managed to execute sins the death toll for finches is beyond astronomical and is the reasoning for their creed: Evolve or die. In most cases, being transferred to the Finches is seen as a death sentence with their hierarchy determined by how many sin execution attempts survived. However, this has granted them quite a bit of autonomy within Cain able to determine logistics and purchase out whole facilities for their own operations.
