How Did You Develop Your Sense of Tea Flavors and Aromas?

Just like the title says, I’m really curious how you all developed your ability to recognize tea tasting notes like chestnut aroma, orchid fragrance, honey sweetness, and so on.

Recently I’ve been trying a lot of different teas, but I often can’t clearly pick up on what people mean when they say a tea is “sweeter” or has “more delicate and complex flavors.” That’s what made me start wondering about this.

I’d love to hear any advice or personal experiences that might help me better understand and develop my palate.
