Our 11mo Moodles have decided outside toileting sucks. We recently had an issue with one of them not peeing outside when raining but we did combat it with chicken necks after peeing outside. However, now, he will pee in the morning when I take him out and then will ONLY pee and poop inside for the rest of the day. He was previously fully toilet trained. Now our other puppy is copying this behaviour.

Any tips are helpful. My fiancee and I both work full time but they have unlimited access to the backyard and inside our home all day.

Hi all. I’ve just been successful in receiving a promotion, however, it’s located in Docklands. I don’t mind the drive but I do think I will get over it quickly.

We are renting in Berwick at the moment and I’m not familiar with a lot of areas in Melbourne outside the SE suburbs.

Is there somewhere in closer proximity to the city that has a similar vibe to Berwick? We absolutely love it here. Can’t live in an apartment as we have two little dogs that need a backyard.

Hi! We have two 11 month old Maltese Poodles, both males. Archer refuses to pee or poo outside when it’s raining or if it has been raining and the ground is still wet, he is completely toilet trained otherwise. We have tried leashing him and taking him out the front and this sometimes works but we are experiencing heavy rainfall over the next week and he is refusing to pee or even step outside.

We are in a rental so can’t make adjustments to the backyard. We have a mix of small gravel stone, a small grass patch and some mulch. He doesn’t like any of those textures when it’s wet. Is there a fix to this? Do I need to buy rain boots? I am so tired of cleaning piss off of my floors when it rains. I genuinely have dread when I see the weather forecast. Our other puppy (different litter) is fine but will pee inside when he does to mark over it.
