Hiya! Growing up, my typing classes always ended the '.' with needing two spaces before needing to continue the next sentence.

Recently, I was curious as to how fast I can be and jumped into a couple typing-test sites I found online! I found I was being 'dinged' when I hit two spaces, and this had me confused. Is typing two spaces no longer necessary? ^^;
