They are all great games, not doubt about that.

But most people swear by 2033 because of nostalgia and the fact that is it "harder" , others would say Exodus because of the semi open world and modern tech.

Last Light is the perfect mix of the two, the best story, graphics (mainly because I hate this new realism phase that gaming are going through) and pacing.

The atmosphere is not welcoming, it feels like you're being guided rather than given the opportunity to do as you feel like, and that's exactly why it's better. It's realistic in a way, a metro based life will be restrictive, will be hard and you will have to make compromises.
