Please help me choose a college!
I’m having a really hard time deciding between colleges and wanted some outside opinions.
I got into University of Cincinnati for marketing as an out-of-state student, and they gave me about $13k/year in merit aid. I really like the co-op program and the idea of graduating with actual work experience. But I just got off the waitlist at University of Pittsburgh for neuroscience (also out of state), which was honestly one of my dream options academically. The problem is Pitt told me they can’t give me merit aid anymore even though I applied before the scholarship consideration deadline.
Now I’m torn. Cincinnati seems like the smarter financial/career move because of the co-ops and lower cost, but I keep doubting it because it’s not viewed as “prestigious” as Pitt and has a much higher acceptance rate.
For context, I’m interested in neuroscience/public health/business-related paths and I also care a lot about opportunities outside the classroom.
PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE!
