I wanted to try some weathering techniques I learnt here and on YouTube, and what better model to do it on than an Ez8 which is meant to look a bit old and dirty. Got a cheaper 3rd party model to practice on.

Used a sponge to dab some black and brown spots all over for rust/paint chips, and dry brushed silver on darker parts for scratches. Also used a charcoal pencil to shade edges then smudged onto the surface for a dusty/off white weathered look.

My 2nd build, this time practising using metallic paints on the inner frame and weapons and some light weathering on the red armour. Also getting better with panel lining.

I tried to do a full loadout with all his weapons in the first pic which turned out to be a cool pose I think ☺️

Unfortunately the kit came with stickers instead of water slide decals so the edges of the stickers are a bit noticeable.
