Trying weathering on a RX-79[G]Ez-8 Gundam Ez8
I wanted to try some weathering techniques I learnt here and on YouTube, and what better model to do it on than an Ez8 which is meant to look a bit old and dirty. Got a cheaper 3rd party model to practice on.
Used a sponge to dab some black and brown spots all over for rust/paint chips, and dry brushed silver on darker parts for scratches. Also used a charcoal pencil to shade edges then smudged onto the surface for a dusty/off white weathered look.
Please et me know what you think, any feedback would be welcomed!
What other weathering techniques do you guys use that would be good to learn?
Thanks guys.
