


Fermat's Cuisine Napolitan Official Recipe
Recently acquired the official recipe book for the show and translated the recipe for Napolitan below. There are 20 other recipes (not pictured in the list are a few peperoncino pastas). Let me know if there's any specific one you'd like to see.
Ingredients (for 1 person):
- 100g spaghetti (1.8-1.9 mm)
- 0.25 onion
- 2 sausages (probably the Japanese kind)
- 0.5 bell pepper
- 3.5 tbsp ketchup
- 0.5 tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- oil
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti in salted water (2% of water is salt) for 2 minutes longer than the time indicated on the package.
- Once cooked, rinse in cold water and drain. Make sure to cook thoroughly, not al dente.
- Cut onion into wedges, sausages diagonally, and bell pepper into thin strips. In a bowl, mix the wine vinegar and mayonnaise, then add the spaghetti and mix well. Let it rest in the refridgerator.
- Heat an appropriate amount of oil in a frying pan and saute the onions until they are nicely browned.
- Add sausages followed by the bell pepper and continue to stir-fry. Add ketchup to the pan, moving the ingredients to one side so the ketchup touches the frying pan directly.
- Add spaghetti mix (from the fridge) and stir-fry everything together.
