Writing & Computers in Social Work- a bust.
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else was dealing with this extremely unfair gap in mandatory to complete classes for a social work degree. I’ve pretty much just need my field practicum in order to complete my degree, but I need the SW 3010 writing and computers in social work class to complete.
I added the class for the three week pre-summer session, and was notified that it was being canceled due to low enrollment. The only other time it’s offered this year is fall of course, and it’s for Wednesdays at 1:40 PM. So far I found the school unhelpful and extremely rigid with the offerings in classes, as well as restrictions on field practicum placement (no evenings, no weekends, are you kidding me?). So now I can’t take this class that was originally scheduled, and the fall class is set for the middle of the day in which nobody that works full-time can possibly make in motion instances; I mean, that’s such a random time, not only that, but for a mandatory class you must take it’s only offered once?
This is ridiculous; so much for being a top commuter school.
