I have the charging limit set to 80% but recently have noticed that the phone seems to charge over 80. The indicator shows 80% as the max but it can go for hours without the indicator moving at all.

I did not notice this happening until a few weeks ago and have had the phone for more than a year. Is there something that changed recently due to an update or has it been this way the whole time and I just haven't noticed? In any case currently the device is lying to me about the charge level and I don't appreciate that.

I just want to improve the longevity of the phone if I can. I don't use more than 80% a day so it seemed fine to add a charging limit. If anyone has an idea what's going on or other tips thanks.
