Has your smart phone ever made you feel spooked?

So recently you may have come across posts or videos of people saying that they think that their smart phones and devices are maybe reading their minds. because whenever they were about to type something up, the google suggestion already predicted what they were thinking about. And I get that because I’ve also experienced this phenomenon too in the past.

But I also noticed something else that I couldn’t help but share with everyone else in case I’m not alone in this situation.

And that is that I can sense the energy of a video or shorts before I watch it. Now let me explain what I mean by that. I’m sure we’ve all came across videos of gore and death online especially in the Wild West days of the internet. But when I was younger it would catch me by surprise and then obviously it would be a horrible experience to witness such evil.

But recently idk if maybe I’ve gotten use to predicting such content or maybe those videos give off a kind of negative energy that is detectable before you even see it. But I’m able to know that this video or content is going to be gore or injury related and I skip it because it makes me uncomfortable. But then I’ll go back to check as to why I skipped it and lo and behold it turns out my gut instinct was correct it was a gore or evil content.

I’ve always hated the complications of people getting hurt and found it twisted so idk maybe I’ve such conditioned myself to pick up signs.

Or maybe the whole phenomenon of our Devices reading our minds works both ways. If our devices can read our minds then we can also read our devices on a much deeper level.

What do you guys think?

Asking for complete Annihilation

Salam

I am a Muslim, and I wanted to ask if this concept of complete Annihilation is possible in Islam.

Now before I explain what I mean, I want everyone to know that I am not depressed, sad or hopeless. Alhamdulilah I’m the most blessed human alive.

I just don’t really care about worshipping and praying to Allah just for the sake of paradise and reward. I pray to Allah and worship him because i want to, not because I want something in exchange. I do good deeds because it pleases him, not because I want hoors, palaces and luxury in exchange. Not that there is anything wrong with wanting those things. But I personally don’t want them. Even if they were given to me I would want to give them away to others.

I believe in heaven and hell, and life after death. but I also want to know that if we can wish for anything in paradise, and all our desires will be fulfilled. then can my desire for complete non existence be granted too?

I know all animals will be turned to dust and so the disbelievers wish to be turned to dust also, after seeing the punishment of hell. But they will desire complete non existence as a way to get out of the inevitable suffering.

Whereas I want to ask for this not out of fear and hopelessness, but out of desire. Now before anyone says that oh well your desires and wishes will change once you go to paradise and Allah will remove that desire from your heart, then that defeats the whole purpose of free will. That Allah will just remove this desire from my heart because he doesn’t want to fulfill it. Or that it is not possible because he can’t grant me such a wish. If you say he will remove this desire from my heart then I lose my free will. And if you say he can’t grant such a wish then you are committing a sin by limiting his abilities.

I know Abu bakr (ra) and maryam (ra) use to sometimes say things similar to this, so I know I’m not the first believer to say such things. but I don’t know what their reasons were and what exactly they meant by it.

But if you disagree then give me a good reason as to why my wish could not be granted. And don’t ask why I want this, that is not the point. Why I want this is irrelevant. I just want to know of the possibility. Or if there is any literature that discusses such a thing.
