Looking for a sustainable TWS alternative under €100

Hi everyone, I'm looking to move away from wireless earbuds (TWS) because I'm tired of them becoming e-waste every few years due to dead, unreplaceable batteries. I want a sustainable, long-lasting setup, so I'm making the switch to IEMs.

Here are my criteria and setup:

  • Budget: Up to around €100

  • Source device: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

  • Cables: Must support standard, non-proprietary third-party cables (like standard 0.78mm 2-pin or MMCX) that I can easily buy on Amazon or AliExpress if the original breaks

  • DAC/Dongle: I want a simple, portable setup (no bulky desktop gear). Will the standard Apple USB-C dongle suffice for the S23 Ultra, or should I get a different budget dongle? I've heard Android sometimes has hardware volume-limit issues with the Apple dongle.

Bonus Question: Since I will be using these on my phone daily, how do you guys handle phone calls? Since most audiophile IEMs come with mic-less cables, do you buy aftermarket cables with integrated mics, or is there a better workaround?

Looking forward to your music recommendations and practical tips! Thanks in advance.
