Viibryd success stories for anxiety and panic?
Hey all- I was on Zoloft for 2 years well managed then weaned off. Went on Prozac after I started getting panic again which worked well for 3 months then stopped, then switched back to Zoloft. Zoloft 100 mg worked well for about 6 months, but after increasing/decreasing doses due to worsening unmanaged anxiety, I started having this pattern where I’d feel better for 1–2 weeks after a med change and then crash back into anxiety again.
Recently I cross-tapered from Zoloft to Viibryd because my anxiety was no longer well controlled. The transition has actually been more tolerable than previous SSRI changes (less panic-level activation), but I’m terrified Viibryd will either:
not work at all, or
“work for 2 weeks then stop” like it feels like other recent med adjustments have.
Today was my first day going from Zoloft 50 + Viibryd 10 to just Viibryd 20. I’m anxious, exhausted, unmotivated, and having GI side effects.
Has anyone with a similar history eventually stabilized on Viibryd after SSRIs became inconsistent? Did the “up and down” feeling settle once you stopped changing meds and gave it time?
