​I WFH and have a dedicated IP address through a commercial VPN service which my IT Department installed on my work laptop by mistake (wasn't allowed per company policy but the tech didn't check). When my dedicated IP address was recently changed, it triggered a security alert which I believe was an impossible travel alert.

IT promptly removed the VPN app from my computer, but I have the same VPN on my router. Will my dedicated IP address continue to get flagged? How common is it for companies to demand you remove a VPN from your home internet?
