I purchased (online) what should be a 1ft grafted avocado tree (seedling?). I'm fairly inexperienced, so I was wondering if I could skip what it looks like many do, and plant it in a 15+ gallon pot immediately instead of the smaller 5 gallon pot.

If there are huge cons to this, please spell it out to me like I were 5, if you could.
