Older OBD II- Will it work with 2026 ACS and all the bells n tech?
I bought a OBDIi device to read codes in my wife's Ford Escape back in the early 2000's. Does anyone know if it will function with the ~20 y.o. newer electri-tech in the 2026 ACS?

New to Group Q:
We are 78/72 and earn $7000 net monthly pension income. We have a paid for 22 y.o. Lakeview home, no kids or grands to spoil and $400k in TFSAs and other locked in investments. I have no desire to take chances on " the market" and create "what if" worries. Health isn't too bad and every year or so, we buy the extra travel insurance and take a nice cruise or like our last, a two week tour of Ireland. Our only major outlay is a new car for the wife ever 8-10 years which we just picked up. The finances mentioned are after everything is paid up accounted for. I'm not terribly happy with my various TFSAs and other deposits at 2.2% up to 4.15% an see tv ads for Franklin investments.."fiduciary". Should I just let things ride? My wife will have 60% of the pension income plus a $1.2M paid for home as a soft landing when I might pass (2-3 years- 5-10 yrs??) Would you suggest leaving things as they've been for 20+ yrs in retirement, or looking back from the deeper end now, go see "an advisor". My friend, a 40 yr TD banker has one to call.
