Why is it so hard to find reasonably priced iPod Classics in Europe?
I've been hunting around for like a month now for a Classic iPod, ideally a 5th/5.5 Gen or newer, and it seems really hard to do in Europe.
Now, I'm in Sweden, and either there are no domestic offers, or they are outrageously priced, untested and expensive, or go up for grabs immediately. eBay is primarily US/UK-based offers, and after adding shipping/import taxes, it starts getting pricey.
I'm looking for it as a gift for my sister, and i even bought a battery and sd mod thinking its easy to get one, boy was i wrong.
Is this a Sweden/European issue, or is it the case with iPod Classic globally right now? I see em pop up on US ebay sometimes for like 50 or 60 bucks, but with shipping and vat, ill be well over 100
And lastly, do you know of any good sources for searching for one outside eBay and local classifieds/Facebook groups? I've scoured some Swedish sites, Marktplaats, Kleinanzeigen, and such, but i still cant seem to find any for like under 100 euro, or unworking ones for cheaper.
Sorry if i seem ignorant or something, im new to ipods and stuff and i remember looking a few years ago and people almost gave them away for free!
