Date of first delinquency/drop off date
In 2023 I had a US Bank card that was charged off, had a lot of life events happen, forgot about it, and then was sued in late 2024 by Absolute Resolutions Inv for the debt via Stenger and Stenger law firm.
I failed to get a debt validation letter which I know was foolish, but was in a financial space to just pay off the debt, which I did in April of 2025 to avoid judgement and court headaches.
Today I received my mailed version of the Experian credit report but cannot find a date of first delinquency, or expected removal date. I also do not see the original US Bank account listed anywhere in the report, other than named as the original creditor of the Absolute Resolutions collection account.
Can I request a debt validation AFTER having paid off the debt? Is there another location to find date of first delinquency or date of expected removal? Am I just missing something obvious in the report?
