I’m in the beginning stages of finding a home to buy in Augusta. Being somewhat new to considering all of Augusta, local connections have told me to avoid anything below I-20 due to crime, and, well…that pretty much eliminates anything within Augusta within my price range. I tend to believe this is a sweeping generalization, so I’d love to hear from people who live south of I-20. What areas do you live in? What is your experience in terms of safety, your local community, neighborhood vibes, etc.? Would you recommend living there to a friend? Appreciate your perspectives!
