Sims 4 Updater Updates?
I’m aware that the Anadius mirror for the cracked sims 4 is currently compromised with a Trojan virus. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way and have had my passwords stolen and Discord infiltrated by Mr Beast scams. Has anyone tried downloading the updater since the exe has been updated for the new game patch? As in, is the virus still in the exe after the update..? Or does anyone know if the manual download file for the newest patch is safe? I don’t even know if that’s how this works, I’m pretty ignorant and green when it comes to cracking games. My computer detected the virus in the updater exe when I went to run it to update my cracked game, and then it deleted it. I got the virus from attempting to redownload it (again, I was stupid). So I’ll have to continue with manual downloads moving forward if the mirror host doesn’t clean the updater. Any insight is valuable and appreciated.
