3 weeks post-op! No nip DI, Dr. Yost in Rochester NY

I'm agender and haven't been on T. Just got cleared to stop wearing the ace bandage! So excited, and relieved since it's super hot out this week! My range of motion is almost fully back. They encouraged me to start using my full range of motion after a week post op, but not lift anything heavier than 10 pounds. Today they said I can start lifting up to 25 pounds. Funny story, I have a couple of little hairs poking from my incisions, which I thought were dissolving stitches. Turns out it's just like 3 leftover nipple hairs! I assume from right above my nipple. Lol. Feel free to ask anything.

Everything is going well so far! I have been able to sleep on my back but every few hours I wake up and have to sit/stand up. Just getting kinda claustrophobic/restless, but it goes away when I move around a bit. I feel like a zombie rising from the dead, then getting tired again and falling back asleep 5 minutes later XDD. Took 2 oxys on the first day but since then it's just been tylenol and ibuprofen. Plus 4 antibiotic pills per day.

Changed the gauze and bandage today so I got my first real look at my chest!! I'm so so happy !!!! The areas that used to be my nipples are definitely numb and feel weird to touch lol.

My boyfriend is absolutely amazing helping me with everything. My best friend came over yesterday to make me bean & kale soup with garlic bread. I feel so incredibly lucky and cared for.

I haven't had a full bowel movement yet but I'm getting there, I had a very small one today so hopefully things are waking up in there.

My range of motion actually feels better than expected, I can reach pretty far around/out, just can't reach and lift at the same time. And can't lift elbows above chest level of course.

Mastectomy pillow, miralax, tylenol+ibuprofen, straw bottle, lots of protein bars and snacks.... Also have a "sitting up pillow" or whatever it's called. Am I missing any last minute necessities?

Have to be at the hospital at 5:30am 😭😭😭
