CPAP doesn’t feel like it’s pushing enough air through
Can anyone advise on what i should check or change here? Had my CPAP for over 4 years with no issues. Recently have noticed that it feels like I’m struggling to breath, or that I’m having to actively pull air through with deeper breaths rather than just breathing normally.
I’ve checked the hose and it looks fine, no kinks in it. The mask looks ok. The humidifier tank is cleaned regularly and the seals look fine. Air filter looks clean but will replace it anyway incase it’s faulty in some way.
I upped the pressure a small amount the other night and while the pressure feels better, it still feels like the air isn’t drawing through properly.
I’ve just moved to a new area (in England) so am waiting for my new local hospital to take me on, so before i start calling around trying to figure out who wants to deal with it i thought i’d ask here.
