Is cyber security analyst salary high these days?
So, I'm almost done with my degree in Europe, for cybersecurity, and I'm thinking what to do next. I've heard that analyst roles pay well, but I'm not sure yet, so I would like to know, if cyber security analyst salary is high these days.
The analyst path seems solid on paper, at least that's what people keep telling me. They say you learn a lot more hands-on than in other entry-level roles. The salaries look decent too, but I've heard the workload is pretty brutal. I wonder if going straight after uni into the cybersecurity analyst role is OK, and I will not set myself for failure or regret it later. So I wonder now, if the salary is still very good, I might try it. What are your insights on this? Anyone knows, or has any experience?
