This seems to come back in an endless cycle
Hey everyone, I'm from India.
Have been suffering from black stool since 10 years, earlier it was not diagnosed as crohn's, and it kept returning as yearly episodes of tarry stools which eventually led me to hospital and blood transfusions, only two times it was off for a year or so.
Now that several erosions have been seen in the GI track and diagnosed as crohn's last year through double balloon enteroscopy , the new doc gave tapered budesonide for almost a year (9mg-3mg) with azathioprine (50mg-100mg) And yet still this problem returns after another year, it has become so frustrating at this point and I don't know what to do. Mailed doc he told me to wait idk why.
If anyone here has gone through the same thing, and tell me how to overcome this it'll be a great help.
