Incoming Millwright student (zero trade experience / CS background) - advice on what to expect?
Hey all,
I'm starting the Mechanical Technician - Millwright program at Humber soon.
I don't have any prior hands-on experience in the trade-I'm switching over after finishing a 2-year Computer Programming diploma,
How are the shop labs and workload during the first term for complete beginners? Are there specific tools/gear I need on Day 1, and what math or trade concepts should I brush up on beforehand?
Any tips for succeeding in the program would be greatly appreciated!
