Difficulty Buying

I recently bought a house and I’m waiting to paint a few rooms before moving in completely by the end of the month. My family wants to own a Russian Blue, and we live in California. We have no intention on owning more pets and just want 1 family cat. We were hoping to time it so we’d have a cat by September or October at the latest. My husband and I do have a teen and a toddler, but both are gentle kids. We won’t be having any more children either.

I am having an extremely hard time finding legitimate, or responsive breeders in CA. The TICA website is inaccurate with almost all the CA listed breeders not actually being in CA. I already contacted HomegrownAdventures in CA and she was very off-putting and stated she has no kittens for sale right now. I contacted BlueAura in CA and I haven’t received a response yet.

Anyone know of other breeders?

Almost Perfect

My husband and I are looking to buy a home and we think we found the one.

It’s a newly built single story home in a cul-de-sac, 3 bedrooms all with closets, 1 bathroom with tub, 1 master bathroom with standing shower with seat, foyer w/ closet, 1 office space with French doors, small-mid size kitchen, large living room with dining space, 2 car garage, small-mid size yard, and yards fenced. We absolutely love the location is a 6 minute walk to a newly built park, and there is 1 road to go into town and 2 to exit town all close by.

My only issue with this house is you go through the master bathroom to get to the master bedrooms closet. There is a door to the closet and they installed an HVAC vent in the ceiling of this closet. If everything else is perfect…should this stupid bedroom to bathroom to closet be a deal breaker?

My husband says this house is “the one.”

Context: I work from home half the month. Our work/sleep schedules are staggered by 3-4 hours due to how different our lines of work are. So he thinks the bathroom to closet issue won’t be a problem for us.
