Profractional laser treatments

Hello. I just wanted to share some photos and the experience I am having with a Profractional laser. I decided a little over 2 months ago to go back to a doctor that I had met with 3 years prior to take one last attempt to do something about my scarring. I have done 2/5 appointments so far(a month apart for each). The pain is not terrible, but not the most fun you’ll have either. There is typically a topical numbing before the appointment and then a shot into the cheeks through the gums to numb the rest. I see minimal to no changes in depth from my perspective, at least from the initial laser sessions. You are supposed to also see collagen production improve them months later, but we will have to see. The laser is $750 per session and recovery time is typically 1-2 weeks. I would apply petroleum jelly and a light moisturizer most days while healing as recommended by the clinic. The photos above are from recovery progress days after each appointment. The slide at 9 is the start of the 2nd appointment recovery. There is also photos taken by the doctor before each appointment to check progress as well but I haven’t procured those from them yet. If you have any questions, fire away. You can also see more of my initial scars in a previous post I made on my profile.
