First Polyphia concert

Hii!

I'm going to the Polyphia concert in Milan this year, and it'll be my first concert ever, so I'm not really sure how everything works. How long before the doors open should I arrive?

Also, is it generally safe for girls? I'll be going with my dad, so I'm not going alone, but I was just wondering what the atmosphere is like.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks guys!

Chinese bridge competition help

Hi everyone!!

I've only been learning Chinese for about 8 months in university and recently won the university category for the Chinese Bridge Competition in my country. Because of that, I am going to the global finals in China, but I honestly have very little information about what to expect and I am extremely nervous.

Because my level is very low, I'm not really worried about winning or ranking highly. I already know there will be participants whose Chinese is much stronger than mine.

What I'm wondering is what the experience is like if you're one of the weaker participants in terms of language proficiency. I'm worried the experience will just end up being very embarassing and disappointing. That's my main concern and dilema.

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
