I was arrested with a dui in April but nothings been filed. I called the DA and they have told me the police haven’t even sent my file over. How often is that file bottlenecked by the police?? Why would that happen?
I got a dui 2 months ago in San Diego county when I fell asleep at a light around 1 am. Blood test revealed a .14 BAC. I took no field sobriety test. My arraignment date came and went and no files were charged. On top of that the DA has not received anything from SDPD. They haven’t submitted a thing to them despite my blood test being available for about 5-6 weeks before the arraignment. Is there any chance this falls through the cracks?
